Rob Thomas, creator of ABC?s clever but short-lived dramedy, is exec producing the untitled project. Industry sources describe Thomas' premise as a fish out of water situation featuring Marshall as a business woman who returns to Texas to manage a hockey team. Hollywood Reporter says Dan Cortese will play Marshall?s ex-boyfriend, who co-manages the ice guys.
